The catalogue has been prepared for the MOTHERLAND exhibition organized in collaboration with Pilot Gallery at Sakıp Sabancı Mardin City Museum between May 11 - June 10, 2024. The catalog was printed with the support of Petrol Ofisi, MV Holding and CMC Holding.

Halil Altındere, was born in Mardin; In addition to his selection of installations, sculptures, videos, photographs, canvases and neons, which he has been creating with his unique, sarcastic language since the late 1990s; It consists of works he has produced in recent years that blend the science fiction universe of Star Wars with the traditions of murakka and miniature. Exhibition; Along with thirty-six works dealing with institutions, borders, identities, wars, technologies, traditions, futures, popular culture and subcultures, there are carpets with militaristic iconography produced with the help of artificial intelligence and robotic knitting technique in the last two years, and carpets produced specifically for the exhibition and produced for the first time.
